I was in currys and they have a couple of Roberts DAB radios with what must be analogue volume controls.

Normally digital radios have ever spinning volume controls where you can't adjust the volume before turning the set on. These radios I saw have volume knobs that actually stop turning at the far left and far right. I tested them as they were plugged in at the shop and was able to decrease and increase the volume incrementally before turning them on. This is perfect and exactly what I need but in a DAB radio alarm clock. Roberts don't appear to have anything like that on their website. Has anyone come across such a machine? It would mean I could turn the volume down at night then turn the radio on without disturbing anyone.
edit: hmm, just as I post this, I seem to have found one. http://www.robertsradio.co.uk/Products/DAB_radios/SOUND80/index.htm
That looks like the volume knob will work like analogue too.
