DAC s/h for computer digital out

I want to take the digital out from my audigy 2, and connect it to a DAC...has anyone done this? I will be playing movies, games and music from the computer will they all work? Im looking at the Cambridge Audio DAC DACMagic2, but are there any other DAC's out there that can upscale as well?

You shouldn't have an issue connecting a DAC to your audigy. My PCs motherboard has a dig output that I happily connected to an external DAC.

Can't say I'd chose a CA unit. I bought one of their 700 units a few years ago, and was somewhat...underwhelmed.
For thoughts on recommended DACs, run a search on this forum about DACs.

I use an external DAC with my M-Audio sound card, and am pleased with the results.
