I have been out of the loop for awhile so don't really know what is good and bad now, )=:
I will build it for him, currently trying to figure out what is good and what is bad, So your help would be greatly appreciated.
he has monitor

My dads requirements are

Budget £500-700:
Silent case:
Ports to be on show for easy access, he don't like PC's with door at front sends him in fits, top ports are fine:
SSD for OS:
Seperate HD for his junk to go on, he has lots of it so 2TB is needed:
He don't play games so Graphics card is not needed onboard is fine:
Windows 8:
Onboard sound is fine too:
Lot's of ram as he do like running loads of thigns at once:
On board Lan:
Port or addon whereby he can insert his SD cards:

He uses PC for radio recordings and TV clip so likes to transfer stuff on to Memory sticks, also like to write his own DVD's, browse web and basic stuff like word/email

Big Thx all.

Looks good, bit over kill for his use. You could swap out the case and add the card reader to my spec, as that would meet his needs and save a bit of money.
