He wants pc to be as fast as possible for around 300-340, the only requirement is that the case need to be tidy inside (so have some sort of cable management), does not need to have a dedicated graphics card can be built in,

P.s he does not need a monitor or mouse keyboard or anything just a base unit.

Saves you nearly £45.

Swaped AMD for Intel.

Case & PSU bundle.

Smaller but faster hard disk or just go with the one you put originally.

Perhaps just have a look at the RAM. The motherboard says it supports 1.5V and the OCZ are 1.55-1.65V. Should be OK as long as the RAM runs at a reasonably low voltage.

Should be fine for "a cheap pc for surfing the net and watching the odd movie" as per your other thread.

You could save another £8 getting this processor:

AMD Athlon II X3 Tri Core 450 3.20GHz (Socket AM3) - Retail£59.99

You could save a few more quid if you're happy with a dual core:

Why are you looking at the older socket 1156 or the AMD AM3 cpu's?

Sandybridge is where its at.

This is a comparison of the i3 2100 vs the much slower AMD tri core 455 - http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/289?vs=202 the AMD is beaten.
