My dads pc is around 7 years old, brought from Tiny.com ^^.
Im going to build him a better pc (Suprise) from my old parts i have spare which is (mobo, cpu, ram, graphics card). I will be using from hes (PSU and Case).
My question is... as the PSU is around 7 years old and the mobo is around 1-2 years old will it work? also he gfx card is PCI-E and i believe it needs the extra power cable that come with the newer PSU's that you plug into the gfx card, can you just buy a adaptor or i would i be better off just buying a cheapish PSU?

lol hes been lucky. I would definitly take the suggestion above and get a new psu.
