I've just purchased a Dewalt Circular saw for some work I'm doing at home with the current downtime I have from work, and wondered do I have to use Dewalt blades or would any blade of the correct size fit the saw. The saw a is a DCS391N

Any blade the right size, you'll probably find that the blade you've got on it is a generic one and you can buy specific ones for each material you want to cut so if you're doing a lot of woodwork get a wood blade for less tear out.

This. Choose the blade to suit the material for happy sawing.

Any blade the right size is just fine, but bear in mind that cheaper blades tend to go blunt more quickly and so are useless. Not all tungsten blades are high quality! I have a number of circular saws and have used a variety of blades in them. DeWalt are a bit more expensive than some others but they are good quality. Freud is another good brand as are Trend. Makita are poor.
