Daft GRID Question

I bought GRID from the Steam deals a couple of weeks back to play for Christmas. Unfortunately I can't see any way to control the car with the mouse, so I'm having to use the keyboard, which spoils it totally.

I can't find a mouse option in game, nor is there any mention of it being an issue online. Can I use the mouse in GRID or do I need to buy a controller/wheel?

Can't say I've ever seen an option for the mouse, but surely that would be an absolutely horrific method anyway?!

The analogue input from the mouse will be infinitely better than the on/off input from the keyboard. Since I'm not willing to buy a controller it appears that I'm stuck with the keyboard. Glad I only paid £3.49 for the game now
