Hi.
I was talking to a mate the other day, and we were trying to decide what was the best DP album.
The debut classic of 'Homework', the experimental story of 'Discovery', the remixes of 'Daft Club' or the new & much slated 'Human After All'.
'Alive' wasnt included as its not strictly an album, with it being a live set

I personally think that all of the 'proper' albums are good in their own regards. But i'd have to say Homework was my fave. Followed by 'Discovery'. Then 'Human After All'. Then 'Daft Club'.

What about you lot?

as some of you know im tottaly crazy about Daft Punk :D

As you said all the albums are great in there own way

Homework is my favourite though its simply amazing, especially when you consider its coming up 10 years old . i dont even know how to single it out other than i can listen through every track non stop with a constant smile on my face everytime :)

after seeing Daft Punk are to play live at coachella festival im hoping theyve got a comeback tour or something planned.

If they tour, im definatelly gonna try and get tickets.
Along with JMJ, they are one of two acts that i want to see in concert.

It's subjective so there might be a couple of people that disagree but everyone knows Homework is their best album. Discovery is cheesey as hell (though i do still like it :o) and i was very disappointed with Human After All.

Going on past trends it will be 2009 till we see the next daft punk album if at all because i've heard Thomas Bangalter is losing his hearing..

What's your favourite individual track?

Discovery everytime for me. Great in the car if you can listen to it start to finish.

Quoted for truth!

Its far better than Homework IMO, I prefer 'Human After All' over Homework too.

Deffo Discovery. Go out and buy Interstella 5555 if you haven't already bought it. You're not a daft punk fan unless you've got it.
They must be my number 1 act to see on the wish list...

Tough decision but
1) Homework (Because there was nothing like it when released).
2) Discovery

I saw them Live @ Leeds Town & Country Club when they did the Homework Tour AWESOME !!

Homework>=Discovery>Human After All

Discovery and Homework are very close, but homework just pips it.

Saying that though, Interstellar 5555 is simply amazing.

Homework is easily the best, Discovery was just horrible, I've not heard all of Human After All but the first couple of tracks are dire.

Best tracks on Homework are Rollin & Scratchin and Alive, both stunning when heard in a club, especially Alive.

favourite track would have to be revolution 909, i love it !

some of the live mixs ive heard by them such as the radio1 essential mixes and the live at el divino ibiza one are amazing too

interstellar 5555 dvd is unreal too

think my opinions a bit biast though id probably call anything by daft punk amazing now :p :D

Discovery for me.

I was lucky enough to see them play a set at Homelands many many moons ago, still remains as one of my foundest clubbing experiences.
