Daft question with probably an obvious answer

Hi all,

I am looking at getting a Ipod touch however I have one question which sounds daft but I havn't been able to locate the answer for (probably searching the wrong thing)

Basically using itunes (I have never used it before for reference) can I simply rip a cd to listen to it on the ipod?

I assume the answer is yes but as I have never used the program before who had an ipod before I have no real idea.

Yeah.

Put in a cd it'll prompt you to rip it, you hit yes and starts doing it.

Few minutes later the cd will be ripped and on iTunes - if you want it on your Touch you can set it so that all music in your iTunes goes onto the Touch or manually manage your music and select all the songs on the album and drag them onto the Touch - and they'll transfer to it almost instantly.

Really easy.
