So....

I'd had enough of windows 10 running slow, eating ram and genuinely being ****e...

Popped in the windows 7 disc clean install blah blah you all know the drill,

the problem if it even is a problem is on my Corsair Link on windows 10 my cpu idled at about 23-25 and my H100i never made a peep even unload load it only ever made a slight hum and cpu temps went up to between 32-35ish

now on windows 7 idling at about 32 and load upto 38-42ish? any ideas? bios up to date and all new drivers and the likes as upto date as I can get them?

Had you set a different fan speed which has now reverted to default?

no iv set the curves exactly the same can't figure it out...
