So i saw someone post this whole Brendan vs Robert trolling thing on facebook the other day. For those of you who haven't seen it, its a pretty tame and mediocre trolling of facebook status'. A thread in GD puts it to shame.
Why am i posting about it then?
Well i wanted to see if this fella responded to how viral it has gotten adn see if he has embarrassed himself again. What came up was an article saying that it was all a hoax at the 'Liberals' expense.

Well, i instantly thought, 'nope, clearly the hoax is this article'. I mean, this is not even newsworthy but there is obviously an agenda to push so lets make a fake article about the argument being a hoax.
Last picture showing them admitting to it shows like 300mill likes in 5 minutes... LOL
Also the format of the likes are inconsistent within the same picture, some have commas some don't. The most ridiculous thing is that the format doesnt even match facebook's which writes 3.7k likes for things that are liked 3,700 times.
Has reporting really become so petty and shoddy that not only are there poorly done articles posted but they are also fake and of no significance?
I mean, its not even proper clickbait
