Daisies!

Obviously I don't understand Display Port 1.2!
I was fiddling with the DP setting on a monitor.
How is it possible to daisy with a DP monitor if it doesn't have a DP out?

Have to say I've never seen it before on a monitor that didn't have DP out and don't think the monitor on the end of the chain has to support anything special.

Maybe they have various different models that use the same mainboard and firmware but different features/outputs and just lazily left the functionality there in the software but doesn't do anything if the hardware isn't present.

Yes, I'm certainly confused. I have emailed the manufacturer ( LG ).
