Hullooooo
I'm working on a project at the moment, and using 3 12cm fans on my Rad is looking untidy. I'm looking to daisy chain but cant find any useful guides to this. I know that a few guys here have done it so was looking for some answers to a couple of Q's
Is the only way to Daisy-Chain to use the 4-pin Molex's and just clip them back to front? How would this work for 3 pin Fan connectors? Also, it would look far nicer and tidier if it were possible to cut the wires and join them somehow. My knowledge on anything that carries a current is poor to say the least so what would be the restrictions of doing this? I might as well 7v the bad boys at the same time if using 4pin, but 3 pin would be better for fan control.
So... could i cut the connectors and join them in a T junction effect? i dont know the terminology. So it would look a bit like TTT ? if that makes sense, haha.
I'll probably shrink and braid them if it will work!
