Dam it.... I'm addicted to WoW

hahhaha, when some of the TFU lot started playing wow again, i remember the verbal abuse we got from goon about how we are all saddos and he would never play that fairy loving hippy crap, FPS is where its at and he would never play wow.

oh how the tide has turned :D

I tried wow on a trial and spent 2 days collecting weeds and pumpkins. I swiftly deleted it.

I felt like you did about bf2/CSS.

Then I discovered tf2, which kept me busy for a year, played bf 2142 before that.

Then I re-discovered Company of Heroes and the Blitzkrieg mod, truly awesome!

I then played arma2, it's like battlefield but for adults with a brain. :p

I'm happy you like WoW and enjoy it, but have you looked outside the EA catalogue?

I also enjoy DCS: Black Shark, I was so happy when I could fly it without smacking it into the ground instantly lol.

Wow has always been the same story for me i will play it for a few months get leveled and geared up and just get bored and stop playing.

I was tempted to resub the other day but it would only be the same old story so i decided it delete my game folder instead.

The idea of totally starting again appels to me though maybe on the horde side since i never really had a horde before. I might also be a achivmeant horde trying to do as many as the achivmeants as possible to add a bit extra to the game.

Can any one reccomend me a good horde guild or server to start again on.

Oh can some one send me a Scroll of Resurrection invite so i get some free time to see if i get back into it, of course if i resub u will get a months free play. Any one willing to do so i will pm my details :)

I got to level 51 and stopped. I failed to see where the addictions come from as it was all a bit repetitive and boring at times.

Edit: I actually enjoyed Runescape more when I played that back in 2004-2007 before they completely ballsed it up.

The reason people are slagging it off is because it's addicting...
I know that I'd get addicted to it once I got in to it, so I don't start with it.

yea wow is really good but ive played since day one and stopped for a bit till expansion comes out.

WoW addiction? Yeah, I've been there, done that, but only confined to year 2006. The further away from vanilla the game became, the less addicted I became, then I gave up in January 2010.

I once had a friend who was addicted to wow. He became fat - addicted to take-away pizza's -, spotty and very unsocial.
Unfortunately, he died at a fairly young age, whilst playing wow with a full bucket next to him.

You reminded me of 'Make Love, Not Warcraft'. :(

I gave up on March 2008, I couldn't even make it to the lich king, WoW sucked after vanilla. I think the only reason I even played in BC is because I had a really tight group of guildies/friends.

Im hooked but its starting to annoy me because im now level 63 but not enjoying the areas in burning crusade the same :(

Yeah burring crusade was a bit meh for me as well i always found it borring getting from 60-70, i guess thats why most of my alts are in the level 60 range.

I enjoyed playing my death knight at that level as they was so overpowerd you could do a lot of the group quests on your own.

Outlands is a **** hole of a place. I don't think I really like any of the maps, they are all horrible.

The only thing that made TBC great was the raids (SSC, TK, Gruul, Mag and BT)
