Dam Oblivion Bug!!! (ps3)

Erm, Yeah, just carry plenty of cure disease potions and keep an eye on your stats.

If you complete the main quest before you complete the Vampire Cure quest, you may be unable to give the bloodgrass to Melisande. To workaround this, reload a save from before you completed the main quest, then finish the Vampire Cure quest first. If the problem still occurs, start a new game.

We are aware of this issue, and it has been entered into our database. However, at this time, there are no planned updates at this stage for any version of Oblivion. Please check the website for any announcements if/when that changes. The game can be successfully completed without finishing this particular quest.

OMFG that actually made my chuckle to myself thinking someone from Bethesda sat and typed that "technical" reply to you!!! "you may be unable to give the bloodgrass to Melisande" that sounds so funny coming from them

Oh and dude 34 hours is nothing compared to some peoples scores, I got 200 hours racked up on my character before I lost the data on my HDD - just start a new game, when I had to - I found that I knew exactly what traits to give my character and my main skill etc. because I knew the game a lot more. If you're good enough you can level up really fast too which makes it more fun

I believe you can only find it in three places in the whole game... one of which is in some stupid liar you cant get back to. And I dont think you can pick it again once it has already been harvested

Oh AND theres a 1 in 3 chance of actually harvesting it successfully i think

Yeah they do, that's where I got all my bloodgrass from.

Im almost 100% positive that they dont count, reason being was I tried to look for some and I read somewhere that they dont, that would make it far too easy to sure the disease.

Freeman did you cure vampirism using the bloodgrass you found in Oblivion gates?

Although Im almost positive I read somewhere that said either you couldnt harvest the plants inside of oblivion or that they just didnt count - man what a geek I am

I'm certain that the bloodgrass I used was plain ol' Plane of Oblivion stuff. I suspect that the bug is a scripting error that simply does not advance correctly if you've completed the main quest.

I am 100%

When I first saw the plants (in the very first Kvatch Oblivion gate) I knew that it would have to play a part in a quest later on so I stocked up on them. Every single plant I saw in the gate I harvested.

I then got Vampirism and used 5 (I think it's 5 isn't it?) of the bloodgrass to help cure the disease.

Does anyone know if theres another elder scrolls game coming out? I know Bethesda are working on fallout 3 currently

Well Oblivion has been pretty much a success but didn't it take 4 years to do or something? I bet we might see an Elder Scrolls V but it may be 2010 or later. Perhaps a launch title for Xbox 3/PS4.

Yea they take ages to make, not surprizing really as they are amazing games, was over 4 years between Morrowind and Oblivion, 2006 Oblivion was releasd so yea its gonna be 2010 at least.
