Dam One X Recovery Touch issue!

So I thought I would be epic and update my One X Rom.

I flashed the latest version of CWM recovery and though it odd that I couldn't use the touch screen in recovery. This meant I couldnt install the ROM (as it's got AMONRA touch install).

So I flashed a different touch recovery (Team Win Recovery Project) but that too doesnt seem to work in recovery

if its anything like any other phones ive played with, then you shouldnt need touch recovery to flash a rom with an aroma installer. non-touch recoveries are normally controlled using the volume keys for up and down and home/power for enter. Have you got no control at all?

Yeah what he said, sounds like you have the good old volume controlled recovery to me.

no, I don't. I have the touch recovery. Both of the recoveries I've tried are touch (although I can volume control with clockwork too).

This is the ViperX ROM. I can get through to "install" but I can't click it or browse to it with the volume either

It's ok, managed to browse to the ok eventually with persistent volume navigation. I wonder why the recovery touch isn't working
