My parents have been tinkering with their PC due to a problem with the Monitor continously turning on and off. I didn't have time to check the monitor on my PC because before I was going to check the monitor my mum decided to flick the red switch on the back of the power pack, whilst it was switched on.

She didn't tell me this until I had asked what did she do to make the PC not power up.

What might she have caused by flicking this little red switch, which from the looks of it controls voltage or something.

What effect would this have on the PC?

Once i can get a little understanding into the damage that could have been caused I can then find a solution.

Thanks in Advance :D

Yeah, going to 1st test a new power pack on it 1st see if it boots up, if not then I'll have to just check each individual part on my PC.

Parents eh :P
