I cleverly managed to drop one of my BenQ 32" PD3200Q monitors whilst moving my desks around the other day. The screen is now damaged and I'm not sure whether I can a) replace the screen, b) send it for repair, or c) just get rid of it (and if so, can I sell it as damaged?).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

How bad is it, pic needed ?

Replacing the screen is seldom worth it .

New like for like replacement is about £350 if my gooogleing is correct.

Maybe house insurance claim if you have accidental damage but consider the excess and premium.

If the panel is damaged then there's no point in repairing it, that's 90% (percentage produced rectally but you get the idea) of its worth sadly.

Thanks guys.

Panel is completely knackered. I had read about it being possible to replace a screen, so wondered if that was worth pursuing. Guess it's down the tip with it!

I had replaced it already via OC, just occurred to me that I may be able to salvage something from the damaged one.
