Hey guys,
I made a pretty extravagant purchase last week on a very expensive chair. When it arrived there was some threads pulled, not a great issue but an issue all the same. A replacement was sent out but when it arrived it is an obvious b stock/used item. I'm not naming names as it could just be a mistake but how would you play this~? I'm pretty disappointed at the minute to be honest

The 3 strike rule works well in most areas, I’d give them one more chance to deliver an unused one with no issues then cancel from there if they can’t provide.

I would ask for a refund , they’ve had 2 chances to provide goods of satisfactory quality and failed each time

Doesn't bet the FIVE different days for delivery I just had for my new desk case. But thankfully on the fifth day it arrived undamaged (although still late after the time promised). The first two were the fault of the retailer, second two the fault of the carriers.

Personally I'd be looking my money back, shopping elsewhere and highly unlikely to ever use that particular retailer again.

Your first chair was not in ideal condition so had to be returned. Any retailer worth its salt would have made sure the second chair was definitely up to scratch. Not a b grade unit.

I appreciate mistakes can happen and had you received a b grade unit first time round I'd be more understanding. The fact you got a dud first AND second time means the company are too lax on the picking and dispatch or they sent you a dud on purpose.

Im not gonna name and shame, I don't want to do that. I quite like the retailer but I'm amazed the second one has arrived and it was previously used.

Sometimes its the right thing to do, to name the company involved as it warns others to be on their guard.

I think that I can understand your not wanting to name the company, and kudos for you for that,
but if the replacement was definitely a used item, I’d be all over the company, like a cheap suit.
