Damaged Win 7 Pro DVD

Sorry to hijack the post but it is kind of on topic. Is there a way to do clean format install if you not got a blank DVD or USB from ISO?.

I might be out of my comfort zone here, but IMO you need a DVD or USB I'd go for the DVD TBH, the ISO needs extracting to usable files to be able to boot & activate your HD (Not sure though)

Never worked with my retail 7 pro key for some reason.

The link I posted above works and I've checked the 64 bit version of home and pro, both are legit and works fine. Stoner81's link also provides 7 ISOs without the need of a torrent app, although I found the download speed a bit slow.

10 ISOs are the easiest to get thanks to the Microsoft tool Admiral Huddy linked.

Just to conclude with my original situation.

It's been a little bit of an understandable faff in communications, however MS have agreed to replace both 32 & 64 bit disks & going off the sounds of the communications the Pro version upgrade disks will be replaced by the full versions (Bonus if it happens) :D there is a cost of £16.58 to pay, which I don't mind, rather than taking pot luck with downloads.

Many thanks indeed for all your replies   What no Beer smilie ;)

Cheers hondo

When you get your disc\s rip them to your hard drive, make a bootable USB and keep your new disc\s safe.

Good thinking. Thanks :)

Any idea how I can create an ISO file from the disks please?

I can make a disk from an ISO using Nero, but have no idea of how to create one ?

KIS advised of adware & deleted it. Yeah right

It left behind Magic find.

Easy to solve though using Revo un-installer :D
