US: Damien

Seemed alright, captured the omen quite well and some great performances and some downright dodgy ones, fairly predictable so far though. Few nods to stuff like the exorcist, etc. I think as well.
 
The original films scared the proverbial balls off me as a teen. That said I hugely liked them, especially that chilling soundtrack. I'll check this out for sure as I had no idea it was out.
 
I'm in. But I can only hope that Damien doesn't get paired with a female cop/FBI agent in the next episode to start solving crimes of the week.
 
I'm annoyed that the chick bit the dust in the very first episode, but otherwise I thought it was quite well done for a first episode. THAT music still sends a chill down my spine :eek:
 
Watched it felt a bit meh

but just like any tv series it requires a few episodes or 1 season to get remotely good.

There are many tv series so we are spoilt for choice really but I could easily see damien from getting cut from my playlist but will see.
 
Binged the first 5 episodes.

Seems decent enough for now I'm just not sure if it has any legs. These shows with big vaguely defined councils of evil tend to devolve into nonsense before too long, couple that with a main character who has an arc that can only play out in a couple of ways it seems like it's got a real limited shelf life.
