Looks like there were plenty of scum out on Saturday, England lose so lets all go mad.

My TT was hit and run on Saturday night sometime after the match, and nobody saw anything :mad:

The annoying thing is I thought about tucking it away for the weekend with the football going on, but never got round to it.

I think a good 2k of damage with a new sill, door, rear arch panel, wing mirror.
Probably an insuance claim unless anyone thinks it can be sorted for under 1k?

Does anyone else think it looks like some kind of bike and not a car with the low down damage?

I am 3 months away from protected 4 years, so will I go back to 1 year NCB from the current 3? :(

Really sorry for you mate, it really boils my **** when I see stuff like this, people have no respect for other peoples property!

The damage is very low but if I bike did this it would have been a write off and would to be at the scene IMHO.

For the sake of 3 years NCB, id probably wait 3 months and claim then.....

Me too.

I don't think it looks like bike damage, there would be bits of bike lying around for that sort of impact. More like beered up angered England supporter scums in their shaved head chavmobile.

Really sorry about the damage, boils my blood too :mad:
 
gutted too mate.
Im just in the process of sorting a "hit and run". Car was hit by the milkman at 3am a while back. wife heard the colision but thought it was wheelie bins being knocked over.
Phoned police anyway to keep insurance company happy. They came out to look at since i told police i had a couple of witnesses to it happening.
This happened back in may and on saturday police came to take statements from the main witness and me.
When they first interviewed milkman he denied it, but they were going back to see him after they had the witness statements.
So hopefully he'll admit to it and i'll get back my 2 yrs ncb ive lots. I only had 3 yrs ncb as well.
Tis a damn shame that nowadays ppl ownt own up to doing anything.

Theres a lorry distribution centre over the road with what looked like an all-round camera, but they said it only pans the yard and not the road and houses in the other direction.
 
I was just about to say it was probably done by a lorry, that’s what happened to my brothers fiesta. Again another hit and run
 
Gutted. :(

Its what happens though after we lose at football, they smash the place up, i bet theres a load of city centres on a clean up operation, i dread to think how many cars got kicked in etc... about hlf hr after the game i must have heard about 20+ sirens, god knows where they were smashing up. :(

Pure scum. :mad:

The door isn't as bad as it looks just a bit dented, the white stuff just comes off on my finger, so it's mainly the bottom sill part and the back arch, problem is that back arch is a massive panel.

If it's under 1k to fix then probably worth considering, the excess and 3 years NCB would cost way over 1k anyway, and while waiting for 3 months is tempting it would be a risk if they notice it's old damage and don't pay up and cancel the policy.
 
The rear quater done look that bad from the pics. Any good bodyshop should be able to pull the dents out, smooth them out a little. The arch can be cut off and replaced with new metal. The sill you can buy new sections which should be that much! Youll get it done for less than £1k from looking at the pics mate.
