Damn hard drive

Does anyone know why my PC is detecting my external Hard Drive but I can't find anywhere to open it?

It's in the device manager but I can't get any further than that

Is it in the wrong format? Some sort of linux thingy?

Also, you'd be better off in General Hardware...

Tried looking in disk management? Is it new? Could need formatting and drive letter assigning.

It's not new, it's there in disk management but I can't get into it :/ Sorry if wrong forum

How would I do that?

Right click in Disk Management. Assign drive letter. Job done. If you can't do it then you either don't have enough privileges (log on as Admin or whatever) or something's broken.

Moved to another forum now so all the GD humor is now pointless.
