ok my friend just got a mac and doesn't really know how to work them the best....she always used windows, and me too.can she get msn messenger?

AND

can i ever set up a network with her mac laptop and my windows desktop?? or how else can i send her like music, videos etc.

Yes theres msn, im not sure but i think theres 2, the msn live one and the microsoft messenger look kinda the same, just search for msn messenger for mac on google is what i did at work lol

AdiumX is what you want to be using for an MSN client.

Its what I use and its well easy.

Not sure about the networking though, though i bet its just ticking the file sharing tick box in the networking preferences.
