Is anyone else here having problems with nildram? for the past 3 days its been cutting off pretty much every 20 mins and sometimes staying off for over an hour at a time :mad: :mad: very annoying. Can anyone recommend me a good isp i think ive finally had enough of this crap.
 
Nildram are still as good as they alwyas have been for me.
I've certainly not seen any drops in their service (although both me and the wife do work, so if anything happens during the day we aren't really aware).
I'm here on ADSLMax and if I just try and download some files from the usual suspects (Intel, Microsoft)....

....around 830kbps - 850kbps, so working as well as always.
 
Been fine for me too. I can't give you any stats or anything, but it seems as solid and quick as its always been for me.

Just as likely to be the local exchange as the ISP. Have you spoken to Nildram to see if they know of any problems? Plus has a page that shows what problems there are with local exchanges and Nildram may have something similar.
 
my nildram is giving me jip too, randomly cutting off for a few mins at a time, usually when i'm 1/2 way through a game on live :mad:
i've jumped ship to adsl24, being activated on the 27th, the customer service really is as good as people make out :cool:
 
150+ pings now, I am requesting mac this is not the Nildram it once was they are just like any run of the mill ISP now, infact in the last few days they have been p**s poor.
 
Ive had issues with mine too.

I know that my line is not great, (6KM long and noisy as hell :P) but I always still used to get sub 25MS pings on most games etc. now cant seem to get it down below high 60's and they appear to have started traffic shaping too :(

Real shame as Nildram were an awesome ISP until they sold out to PIPEX, now its all just gone to **** IMO.

Migrated to Titan last week, apart from my router packing up everything has been amazing, great speeds, customer service and happy times!

And, of course, Pipex have just sold out to Tiscali. Need I say more?
