Damn Parcel tape stuck to my Super Lanboy

Any way i can get this tape off the top of my tower? Ive already scratched it by trying boiling water and a scourer?

If i can get it off then i can always repsray the top so im not to bothered about the scratches?

But how do i get the tape off??

Well if you're not worried about scratches and are thinking of spraying, you could just sand it down/off.. etc. If no other method works.

You can try putting more tape on and peeling it off? Might take the other stuff off aswell

Use acetone or Isopropynol. It should dissolve the glue.

yep, that works, btu i never use a hair dryer :S
the best stuff is'pannel wipe' its the stuff i use to clean surface wax and grease off before i paint things. and it bruings sticky residues off in an instant

Why the hell did you use a scourer? :confused:

Hot water doesn't remove tape glue. Should have used WD40 or meths with a soft cloth.

If in doubt - use white spirit. Good for removing sticky substances and for starting troublesome bbq;s

Akasa TIM clean, a citrus based solution, must be the best product I have ever encountered for removing gunk of any kind. That includes sticker residue, marker pen, and their variants, as well as thermal interface material - and it never leaves any sort of stain or mark! It even tastes good with vodka! (only joking don't try this at home)
