Damn you to hell EA *SPITS*

Companies like EA are really helping indie devs with their obsession to stick to a set formula which leads to dull games and constant iterations. But they still release some good games i suppose *goes to find a good EA game released recently* :(

That's the thing. Apart from Dead Space, I don't think I've played an EA game in the last decade :p

Um, EA have been great recently.

Dead Space
Mirror's Edge
FIFA
Crysis
Mass Effect
Mass Effect 2
Dragon Age: Origins
The Saboteur
Burnout Paradise
Need for Speed
Medal of Honor series
Battlefield series

I have a medium spec PC but no problems whatsoever playing EA games.

Um, EA have been great recently.

Dead Space (great)

Mirror's Edge (never played it)
FIFA (not my thing)
Crysis (hmm, jury is out on this one, started pants got good when the aliens turned up)
Mass Effect (never played)
Mass Effect 2 (nor this)
Dragon Age: Origins (didn't like it, too simplistic after years of D&D)
The Saboteur (never heard of)
Burnout Paradise (never played)
Need for Speed (never played)
Medal of Honor series (never played)
Battlefield series (nor these)

So yeah, I've not played many EA games this last decade. I guess they did release a couple decent titles, but they really aren't my cup of tea, with the exception of Dead Space, which I liked.

So no, I wouldn't be too upset if EA disappeared really :p Others would, I'm sure.

Most of them weren't developed by EA, EA's just been the publisher.

Only one of those games wasn't developed by an EA owned studio, so actually EA developed nearly all of them. Just because they aren't called 'EA' doesn't mean they aren't part of it.

(the only game not developed by EA was Crysis as Crytek only have a partnership with EA, they aren't owned by them)

Fact of the matter is EA have published and/or developed more PC exclusives than any other big publisher and developer in recent years. They also have some of the better PC releases of multiplatform games in recent years (Dead Space, Mirrors Edge, Dragon Age, Mass Effect 1 + 2 are all better on the PC than any other platform). They have also released more new IPs than any other big publisher in recent years.

As big publishers go, EA are pretty good, but hey it's cool to hate EA.
