I've lost my toad alarm fob. It snapped off my key ring a few months ago and since then I have been carrying it around with me.

The car is locked, the alarm is activated, I have tipped the house upside down to find it but I can't find it anywhere :(

The alarm will not de-activated via the key, only the fob :(

What can I do?

haven't you got a spare?

If you can't find it, unlock the car and let the alarm go off. then pop the bonnet and disconnect the battery.

Phone the RAC or AA or whoever you are with. This happened to a car my dad had and the RAC guy disarmed the alarm and immobliser in any about 15 seconds and that was on a supposiedly CAT 1 Toad alarm

D'oh!

The number of times I've lost my bank card & it's turned up in the washing machine is staggering!

As its CAT1 it should have a battery backup so it'll keep going off until the backup goes flat.
