Dan x Lian Li A3 mATX case

Ordered mine, will report back should i successfully get round to the build
I've broken the ice. Picked up the case & PSU this afternoon. Managed to find a Gigabyte UD850M in stock locally so opted for that... That's it! I'm committed now, no turning back...
Compared to my old CM690 case this is really, really, smol.. Going to have a play, get the measuring tape out then hopefully come up with a cunning plan...

First impressions of the case are good. At the price the quality is excellent, as is the fit and finish (black version) I would probably say it's better than I expected up to yet. Once I start to try and make stuff fit that opinion may change...

OC delivered with free next day :)

So i committed to this one today. Disabled two PCs and built this case up. Very impressive for the money, and came with a little screw box with separators, nice touch.

You can route the CPU and MB cable just about round the front of the face plate, so some builds will come out real tidy.

I left one back SSD slot free for potential another drive there, and stuck one up top. No need for 3x fans up there as it would become negative pressure. Cables are a mess, but with some longer satas it would tidy up nice. Not that bothered though ;)

Yeah there's loads of space, just no good cable routing. But a tiny gap round the front. MB went in a doddle, i ended up sticking that in near last. HDD cables are tight on the case, but that's how they drilled the holes...
PSU is 140x150x86mm
MB is 244mm square

Hope that helps some more.

My PSU is same size as that. With switching to NVMe that will gain me a little bit more space to squidge the cables in.

Nice to see a small case with an air cooler and full size ATX.

Lovely case, easy build. Only issue I have is the USB headers are too short to reach my ITX mobo. Guess I'll need to upgrade to AM5 at some point.

OP here. Its great, apart from the front IO cables being a bit short to reach my ITX AM4 board. Plus my ugly inflexible plastic PSU cables are on show. But I think some custom shorter sleeved cables would be really nice in here.

I ordered the white a couple of weeks ago and havent built into it yet but I have since seen the new black with wooden panels on pre-order and wished I had waited a while, looks amazing! Might have to sell the white :)

anyone have any idea on the pre order ETA?

ordered my wood panel on the 5th and have a pile of components waiting for the last piece of the jigsaw puzzle lol

Those who preordered already had theirs delivered, I've got mine and it was in stock left for short time (2nd October). Now you guys are probably waiting for next shipment.

+1 for an ETA on the wooden slat front version

im not too sure about the wooden slat version, as it vented, I think it will let air out the front, especially as you cant really mount a fan at the front, and you really dont want air escaping out the front, I just about managed to squeeze a 120x20mm fan in the side which you can just about see bringing air in, also the rear fan is bringing air in too along with the 3 bottom fans, the only outs are the 3 top fans, im getting excellent temps, pretty surprised TBH and using the glass side panel, i'll probably just grab one of the wood fronts when they are available to purchase separately to give it a try, but if temps are worse, then the black solid front will go back on and i'll get rid of the wood front.

Its not easy to build in if you're using a matx board, you really have to think about where your going to put the PSU and check before building that your GPU will still fit, otherwise, choose another spot for your PSU.
As you can see, theres a couple of mm between the top radiator fans and the PSU, and also between the GPU and PSU, and theres no gap at all between the top motherboard heatsink and radiator fans, youve got to really think this one out and also the order of the build.

I have just put one of these together for a customer. Only downside is the lack of space behind the motherboard plate making cabling a pain in the butt. That said it was a simple build with B760M Motherboard, 14700, 64Gb DDR5, Thermalright True Spirit 120, A4000 and a 500w Bequiet Gold SFX PSU. Turned out pretty nice. I fitted one fan on the cooler in the middle, a fan on the rear of the case and then fitted the second fan from the cooler in the side panel. Runs REALLY nice and cool and quiet.
