My god, the vocal performance on this song is soooo annoying. Like, really annoying. The first time I heard it I thought, huh that’s difference. It’s a very catchy, memorable piece as a whole and I really rather liked it. One of the better hits of recent times, for sure. So I thought.
Over time, I became drawn to the actual vocal performance. Now, whenever it comes on, it makes me want to crash my car. Wtf is going on!!! It’s this weird, monkey / baby / tweetie-pie, screechy, psuedo-fake-Asian.... mess. Hurgh!
