Hi, does this clog up waterblocks - i am using low pressure drop blocks. also should i use this or distilled water, if i use distilled water do i need to add anything to it?

i was going to use this and top it up with distilled water if i need to, i know this isn't probably the best idea but at £15 a bottle im not going to buy 2 bottles to have 3/4 of one lying around.

thanks

daven

MCT is a bit of a gimic not worth the money, just get a 5litre bottle of distilled water from halfords for like £3, and a 50ml bottle of zerex or water wetter and you will be fine, and the 5ltr tub will last for ages :)

No,it doesn't clog up I've used it for over a year now and just drained it to replace a rad fan.
I used approx 1/3 of the smaller sized bottle to fill up and a little bit more once the system had settled down after a few days.So it will give me approx 3 liquid changes if needed.
It's got a smell to it which helps if you have a leak, which I found out :D
Good to know you have the added protection over water, well worth the extra £ when you consider how much you have spent on your pc's componants.
Oh and its green so you don't need to add dyes if you wanted coloured water.
hope this helps.

You shouldn't need to use any water, there's 945ml in a bottle so if you are going to use nearly a litre thats a hell of a system your filling :D
If you add water to the mct-5 then you will be lessening it's non conductive properties.

One bottle should be fine,as I said I used approx 1/3 of a bottle for 120:1 rad,1 block, pump and res (drive bay type) and 1mm tubing.Good luck :)
