Dangerous e-bike chargers found on Amazon and eBay

Are ebikes even worth it yet.

after 500 charges your batteries likely only 60% capacity.
Range seems to be around 60miles and I'm guessing that's with low level assist.
Expensive as hell so must have a huge premium on them.
Water proofing seems to be so bad if you wide in the wet you're probably going to ruin your battery or motor, to the extent that people are doing their own mods with old inner tubes

Porsche just acquired Fazua who seem one of the better cheaper options but from googling around it seems they have reliability issues and trouble even keeping enough stock for RMAs

Early adopting is it even worth it? maybe if your commuting 5-10 miles a day and it's saving you a car trip with parking fees.

Battery tech needs to be a lot better imo

Hardly early adopting these days. Been around a fair while.
still seems like it with how battery tech is and there's still too much competition when it comes to motor manufacturers.

googles suggesting 23% of bikes sold in the UK are electric though with similar numbers for the USA

Actually have my name down for one. :) Hopefully be released end of the year. Distance seems fine for what the usage is.
