Dangerous?

i recently had 9 x 400mhz rated 1600mhz but unstable at 3.6

now ive changed multi to 8 x 450mhz

my mobo = P5Q which is rated 1600mhz, will be mobo die because rated fsb = 1800?

and is 8x multi better than 9x?

also ignore idle temps

im using arctic pro cooler 7 and my TRUE black arrives monday

Iv heard higher FSB can be a little faster but dont quote me on that.

ive had to bring it down to 8 x 400mhz for stablity till i get my new true cooler on monday

if i run blend on 9 x 400 or 8 x 450 it will stop cores 1 by 1 after 15 seconds each saying hardware error

and if i run prime small ffts, it will restart comp within 5 seconds temps going to around 60-68c

would temps cause blend to shut off when temps hit 60c?
and small ffts restarts straight away

nah the higher fsb means your ram is running faster so maybe you need a few more volts on nb/cpu due to the higher speeds? My dual will cut out at 95 i think.
