Speaking of animation, I am shocked. Shocked, I tell you, about the compression used for the animated sequences. There shouldn't be a trace of artifacting on the PS3 version thanks to Blu-ray but it's fairly prevalent.

I expect your supposed to max out both holy and unholy before having a fun time on hard. Even normal I found frustrating in parts until near maxing out holy on current first playthrough. Still doing the crappy challenges atm...hope relics are not the bonuses

Grr, this game is testing my patience to its limits. I'm sick of having to repeat sections whereby you go out of your way to get a relic or something and then encounter a stupid puzzle or tricky jump straight after and die.

I found all 3 Beatrice stones completely randomly on my second playthrough.....not finished second playthrough yet though! Gonna max out Holy so I've got both paths maxxed and then go for the harder modes before i swap this for AvP.
Completed it on Normal mode with Unholy stuff yesterday. About 6000 souls short of maxing out all the upgrades 
I think I could have amde those up if I had performed a bit better in the 10 challenges (I think they give you over 1k souls if you complete them with the bonus).
God of War clone in every way tbh, but not as good story telling/voice acting and vast scenes/sections just seemed too similar to God of War (might be because I played GOW collection recently).
Despite a lot of gameplay annoyances, it was surprisingly fun to play, and I will start it again later and try the Holy upgrades out.
Got all 3 Beatrice stones, but they came to no use as they are only any good for doing Holy stuff, so I will use them on my second playthrough.
Probably swap this game for MAG or White Knight Chrnoicles, will miss the DLC that is coming out, but having played GOW collection and GOW3 coming out, I doubt this will be remembered.

Maxing both won't make a difference
, can't even use the holy attacks on him. Had him down to about a quarter health yesterday . Taking a break from it for day, going to rethink my strategy, he will fall.Just been playing this today and am about half way through. Quite enjoying it though it can be very frustrating at times especially the environmental games where your staring at a wall for 10min trying to figure out what to do next, (mainly because of the camera).
Not that i'm complaining, but with the amount of nudity I think they are really targeting the 14 year old teenagers hard.
