Anybody watching this new show on Dave at the moment where celebs fight it out on old 8 bit games. Apparently Chuckie Egg is one of the games tonight

Hmm...is it any good.

Well, so far...its the usual TV attempt at something gaming related. Its a little forced and seems more about the people than the games but will see how it goes. David James has just picked to play Tekken, so could be amusing

Somewhat bizarrely, they are now playing Battlefront, not sure whats 8 bit about that.

Well its just finished now, after a dodgy start it got better and ended up sort of being ok-ish. Though the whole spinning chairs thing is really cheesy, like they are trying too hard. The idea is a good one but again you cant help but feel its been made by some TV execs who dont really "get" gaming or gamers.

Will watch again next week though to see how it develops.
