Anyone seen this game? Looks pretty fun, obvlivion style fighting where you dont choose a target and can just spam spells whereever - so aiming etc becomes important, putting some 'skill' back into PvP aswell as some fast paced fun. Aswell its got naval battles which look hilarious :D bit like that pirates game thats getting some attention, im not too sure about the PvP in pirates yet though, this one looks pretty sound though. Anyone got any more info about it?

Couldnt search forum so sorry if theres posts about it already

Dark Fall is supposed to be like Ultima Online in 3D. Designed around PvP, realistic game play and people being able to live the game rather follow some linear Questfest.

If that's true, all I can say is bring it on!

I think it will be more like Shadowbane, good gameplay, crap graphics, hardcore pvp niche market type thing ... can't wait!

They took out the blue dots on the mini map, I no longer play because of that. As for Darkfall, that is making a lot of people mad, cause it is taking so long. I have been on a Guild's closed beta list since Nov. 2005!!!

They actually got guilds playing then or not?

it looks that way, and for melee fighting etc too, kinda makes it a lot more entertaining the way i see it, more epic battles etc haha :D So guild leaders would have to act like generals or something in PvP telling the tanks to be frontline with shields etc up to block damagefor rangers etc while maybes some mages spammed sum stuff then yea, itd just get a bit carnage like, friendly-fire too. haha

I don't think anyone is playing yet, man I wish they would update Shadowbane.

I tried Shadowbane a while ago. Think I joined a Dune (atreides?) faction/clan/nation. Was a while ago, I stopped playing as it appeared to be just a massive AOE fest. Little skill or fun in everyone standing in the same spot casting AOE spells :p I had more fun power leveling in the noob area.

It really sucks now, no blue dots. It is really fun, geting killed when you are looking at a Merchant's item list & you don't even notice anyone coming cause you can't look at the mini map & tell someone is coming.
