Dark Messiah type slashers?

Just running through Dark Messiah again and really enjoying it.
No heavy Oblivion type learning needed. Just follow the path and kill all in front.
Quite like that dirty demon Xana as well.
Any newer games of this type around - to be released or sequels?
Im liking the simple hacking and emphasis on sexy sidekicks rather than a yawning RPG type affair. I have Oblivion for that.

If it's just hacking you like how about Warriors Orochi? or some other game like that, I think there were a couple of Lord Of The Rings games which were similar also.

I'm not necessarily recommending it as I haven't played it myself but it looks like a fun hack and slash fest, the reviews have been pretty average though.
