From Software will be developing again with series creator Hidetaka Miyazaki overseeing production alongside director Tomohiro Shibuya, who worked on the Monster Hunter series.

"Dark Souls 2 will offer loyal fans exactly the kind of demanding challenges and never-ending struggle that became the hallmark of this whole series," said the publisher.

Lol really? Visuals are stunning in places

And naff in others! Controls are awful on the controller as well, still not as bad as DS1

Controls are perfectly fine on the controller.

In your opinion and probably lots of others too. But then lots of others thought DS1 was gods gift to man and I thought it was damn awful!

I guess I'll just have to accept that Dark Souls isn't for me

Older ones? I'll have you know I go back to the days of the Amstrad and BBC It's just the controller set up doesn't work too well, for example clicking the left stick when running on another button makes you jump. The amount of times I've accidentally hit the soul gem button . I'll probably give the keyboard and mouse a try, I'm not to good on controller based games anyway! Hard to believe I started my gaming life on a one stick joystick

so then you need to re-evaluate why you are buying sequels to a game you didn't like in the first place.

I didn't buy anything, it was given to me as a press build release. Phew!

EDIT : Forgot to mention, the second one was supposed to be much better in the pc control department, at least I gave it a chance!
