Dark souls help

DsFix (http://blog.metaclassofnil.com/?tag=dsfix) essentially just fixes the PC port, as well as giving the user some extra graphical options by means of a text file which can be found while installing. Really simple to install, just a matter of drag-and-drop and just configuring some files.

DsCFix basically makes it easier for you to connect to other players (from summoning purposes), as by default the game can run into some problems. Not exactly necessary (unlike DsFix), but useful to have.

Dark souls doesn't have "mods" really, it isn't Skyrim.

DSFix and DsCFix exist purely to make it reasonably playable on PC.

There are a few completely unnecessary texture mods which just slow the game down but that's about it.

Its also worth noting that dark souls is a GFWL game and Microsoft are shutting down GFWL in July. Once that happens, dark souls will no longer be playable on PC unless from software patch it out. As far as I know all they've said on the matter is that they are exploring their options.

Puts anybody looking to buy it on PC in a pretty awkward position.
