Dark Souls II - Scholar

I've gone through one complete play through when DSII came out and I very much enjoyed it, is this newer edition worth it? Are the original areas significantly different or is most of the new content in the new areas?

From what I've read around here, it seems to get quite a lot of praise, though I haven't played it myself.

The changes make a big difference in some areas. Heide's Tower of Flame, for example, is now much more interesting. It's a massive improvement imo, but whether that's worth buying the game again is another question. I'd say if you don't have the DLC yet, buy Scholar. It comes with them all and it works out around the same price.
