Darkness Demo on UK PSN store

PSN update for the UK today:

Sony have just updated thier online store with a few goodies, first up is The Darkness which gets special treatment in the way of a trailer and a demo (weighing in at 1443mb), also on the store is the latest GTA IV trailer as well as a Rainbow Six Vegas trailer.

Yeah, I like the look of him too, surprising really because from the leaked information prior to the first trailer I thought I'd hate him. He's no Raiden put it that way.

I think I'll download The Darkness demo, I wanna see if the Jaggies really are as bad as I have heard.
Edit: No I won't, I can't sign into the PSN. Anyone else having any problems?

Seems fine here mate, although i'm the only one online

Let us know if the Jaggies really are that bad...
 
Odd, I've not changed any settings at all, so it's annoying that I can't sign in. Especially as I know the net is up (obviously) and I can connect via my Xbox360 to live as well.
I've also turned the PS3 off and back on. I'll turn it off for a while then try again I suppose.

I'll let you know in comparison to The Darkness how much worse/better it is also.
 
Just been playing it and the jaggies are pretty bad and so is the slowdown :( Still its a pretty good looking game though.

ive got a 30m one, got it for £10.

i heard routers should work with up to 100m cables

anyway you can buy 2 x 25m ethernets cables and a cheap network switch off of ebay to go in the middle
 
I had the 360 version of the darkness so downloading the demo to see which is better.

Shame its going to take some time! 1.5GB!!!

No.

As for the network cable, surely anything over 10m + would lose a lot of speed. I used to use a 20m cable for live but now use a wireless adapter and its faster.

I just played it too - cant say I noticed any bad jaggies - maybe it helps to play it in 1080p :D

US Store has been updated nothing to exciting though.
