Quick question, I have almost finished playing through Darksiders 1 again and just seen the second on cjs for £13...

The reason for my reluctant purchase previously was the bad port.

Did they ever release a patch with more options and does the 360 controller work with it?

I bought the Darksiders franchise pack in the Steam Xmas sales Darksiders 2 does have native 360 gamepad support + a few graphical options after the patch from Steam but only basic options. It looks ok though much better than Darksiders1 more like a PC clone of God Of War series than anything else in a large but limited fantasy world.

Worth buying but you can get the retail version which registers on Steam for around £10-12 so might be worth looking for that saves a 12GB download!

Bought a steam key for £13 :)

I have insane internet speed, a 12GB file is a cup of tea ^_^

I put on forced triple buffering and vsyn from the nvidia control panel along side 16x AF, with vsync turned off in the game menu. On top of that, installed the FXAA tool. Looks the dogs now :)

Just racked up a few hours gameplay, really good! Loved the first one :)
