Hey everyone.

I already have one dead pixel on my samsung 32" TV and I am wondering if I have just found another one.

So was playing Amped 3 this morning when I noticed a tiny pink mark. Its always there on the snow yet when I hit pause it disappears. It doesn't show up when I'm using the PC souse or any other source (that I can tell) but I can only notice it in amped. Do you think it might be a rouge pixel in the game?

If it is a dead pixel I might phone up the place where I bought it from and ask if I can have a replacement as I am also seeing red text blur when I am browsing the forums. So that should be a good excuse to return it don't you think?

Also I should point out that even though it looks like a square pixel in the photos it is more like a small blur on my screen.

The black mark in some of the pics is just bluetac and shows where the dead pixel should be.

This is the picture of the dead pixel I already have. When I rub it it turns a plasma kind of white for a while and turns the pixels around it white. (so I won't be rubbing it again)

Cant at the mo because the camera batterys have just run down. Will do later though. But as you can see from the other pictures the blue tack isn't really near the pixel. Just gives you an idea of where it would be. Its hard to take a picture of a white screen and know where about the pixel would be.

I'm still not understanding what you mean.

So press the Print Screen button on my keyboard. Paste it into a paint program. Then circle "where" the dead pixel is or are you hoping the dead pixel will come up on the pasted image?

Thats what I thought you ment. If I were you I would walk away from this thread now.
Hitting print screen will not show a faulty pixel. It's not my graphics card that's the problem. It's my monitor.

There is no call for you to speak in derogatory terms to someone who is trying to help you. I assure you a screen dump will show a faulty pixel. I have done it many times over the years for friends who have had faulty pixels or sub pixels.

[Edit] The graphic card is nothing to do with a faulty pixel. It is the monitor that has a faulty pixel and a screen shot will show it.

I was going to apologise because fair enough you might not of known that a print screen will not show up a faulty pixel but you have just said you have been doing it for many years... IMO your speaking a load of bs

:D

OK people. Cheers for your help. Will see if I spot it anywhere else. Perhaps it would be a good idea to go into the console section and ask if anyone has got this game a LCD?
