Just going through the process of installing drivers onto my new system. I installed win7 onto the SSD with the HDD unplugged as some people suggested, but now I have plugged it back in windows is not detecting it, although it is showing up in the BIOS. Does anybody have any idea what is wrong & how to fix it?

Pop into Disc management in (Control Panel, Admin Tools) you would need format and assign a drive letter.

It is shown under the device manager and I think I have found the Disk Management panel (CP / Admin Tools / Computer Management / Disk Management Tab). I havn't seen this interface before however and am unsure what I need to do with it, and i'd rather not fiddle with random settings.

I guess you can pretty much assume disk 1 is the data drive. Do I just want to right click, make a new simple volume? it also talks of Dynamic Disks & GPT disks right clicking on the Disk 1 and I have no idea what these are.
