Data issues with iOS 6?

Hi guys,

I updated to ios6 a week ago on my 4s and hadn't really noticed any problems until Saturday... I was in a fairly remote area (Hampshire) with no 3g and realised that I wasn't receiving any data :(

Nothing would work; email, web, apps etc. They all just timed out. I was in London/Birmingham a few days previous and completely within 3g for the most part and things were fine. Wifi is also fine.

Any ideas? I just wondered if the updated os had any known data issues with it? I'm with vodafone.
 
have you been to the same area before and had a connection?

my guess is that there was just no 3G where you were at the time.

Yeah, sorry, I was in the same location the week previous and had no problem even without 3g. It's just slow, but I can live with that.

I take it there is nothing documented then :(
 
I had a txt off 02 after I updated to iso6 to change settings or click on a link and it did it for me, all ok.

Or maybe it was when I changed sim.
