Does anyone use this in a large scale production environment? I was doing some reading about this and I must say I'm quite interested. I'm thinking of pitching it to my boss, as a tape saving\backup time window reducing cost.
I've got 3 file servers with 1.6-2Tb of data on each of them. I was thinking of doing something like having 1 backup server with a good chunk of storage on it, doing DPM backups during the week and a tape backup of all 3 over the weekend. Is the snapping in DPM pretty much just off-server shadowcopies of volumes?
Has anyone used this with exchange 2k3 also? I'd be interested in this one too...
