hi gus

just wondering if anyone knows and free software out there that i could use to set a password on my data hard drives.

i have 2 x 500gig dives and would like to set a password or something on then for everytime i try to open them up to look at the files, is this possible.?

You could create a container with Truecrypt - do you actually have 1TB of data or are we just talking documents?

hmm What does truecrypt do.? :rolleyes:

well one drive has about 10gig free and the other 260gig odd free
