Data Recovery - Help Needed!

Hi my mate just lost most of his data (music, documents and photos). Does anyone know of any free data recovery tools that can help?

GetDataBack is good, if you have a 2nd hard drive as you have to copy the found files to another hdd, unless you pay for *** full version. I've used it very successfully before.
