data recovery. xp pro/ntfs :: UPDATED - NTFS help wanted

I have a borked mbr, and I accidentally deleted the partition on my main hdd (sata).

Please advise me on the better data recovery software/companies.

Not sure if this thread should be in the hdd forum? :shrug:

Used the first two and found them very good. used them on my 160gig drive that i had been using in bother windows 2000 and windows xp with NTFS system, windows 2000 coused a few problems as the drive was formated in windows xp. i got well over 60gigs of data (which was the data that was sitting on the drive) windows wouldn't even make a drive letter to it so all good

He ment search for threads started by him, as he lost a lot of data and got it back with Testdisk, as did I.

Words cannot describe how grateful I am to you Bledd. , I nuked my "My documents" drive with partition magic and was able to get it back
