data recovery

Can anyone recommend a decent data recovery programme? I've accidentally deleted my pictures folder in Widows XP Home.

It’s not in the recycle bin before anyone says.

No - and please tell me you're not still using the computer? If so, you could be quite easily destroying any chance of getting the pictures back as I type this.
